AUTHORIZES INSTRUCTOR TO TEACH: Fall protection as a standalone course or as part of other courses, such as HAZWOPER.

This course provides an overview of state-of-the-art technology for fall protection and current OSHA requirements. Topics covered include the principles of fall protection, the components of fall arrest systems, the limitations of fall arrest equipment, and OSHA policies
regarding fall protection.

PREREQUISITES: Completed at least one of the following courses: HAZWOPER Train-the-Trainer, OSHA Outreach Trainer, 40-hour HAZWOPER or OSHA 510/511.
