This is a two week course. The course wil be 10 hours a day, 6 days a week, Monday - Saturday. The course will consist of limited classroom time and a majority of time will be spent in the field. Apprentices and Journeyman are encouraged to apply. Prior attendance in our Intermediate 3 week excavator course os recommended before attending this class. A profiency test will be given at the start of the class.
During this class, the operator will be challenged with different tasks such as:
- Build a ROW
- Excavate continous Ditch correctly
- Excavate Bellholes where needed
- Excavate around Hotlines
- Excavate Creek/Waterways
- Work of Mats
- Pad and Backfill Pipe
- ROW Restoration
- Take up
- Excavate existing pipelines
This class will operate similiar to a jobsite, in conjuction with building a mock pipeline.
The class to be held in Kentucky will be Advanced Winch Training.
