The IUOE Training & Education Center will be offering classes in all areas of crane operation from
introductory to advanced, including Rigging, Assembly/Disassembly and Multiple Crane Lifts. Members will have access to set
up, configure, and operate some of the newest mobile and tower cranes in the construction industry.
Manufacturer brands that are onsite: Link Belt, Manitowoc, Grove, Liebherr, Terex, Tadano and
Potain. 

Advanced Tower Crane Operations (Level 2) - This program is designed for existing tower crane operators who are looking to improve skills relating to tower crane operations. Including but not limited to climbing operation’s, steel erection, and flying concrete slab tables. We will be simulating as much as possible the real-world issues that crane operators will encounter in the field.

Candidates should be in the beginning stages of their tower crane careers who need exposure to different techniques to improve accuracy and speed.

 

Prerequisites for Level 2 – Member must have fall protection training. Member must have completed ITEC Level 1 Crane Operations course or be certified/licensed for tower, mobile hydraulic and/or lattice boom cranes. Certifications/licenses include NCCCO, OECP, Red Seal.
