The IUOE Training & Education Center will be offering classes in all areas of crane operation from
introductory to advanced, including Rigging, Assembly/Disassembly and Multiple Crane Lifts. Members will have access to set
up, configure, and operate some of the newest mobile and tower cranes in the construction industry.
Manufacturer brands that are onsite: Link Belt, Manitowoc, Grove, Liebherr, Terex, Tadano and
Potain. 

Steel Erection Training (Level 3) - This is a level 3 course designed for operators with prior mobile crane experience. In this course, members will learn how to safely and productively handle steel. Focus will be hands on for loading, unloading, shaking out and connecting iron. Exercises on the proper way to Christmas tree, organize steel based on blue prints and flying iron methods. 

 

Prerequisites for Level 3 - Members must have a certification/license for hydraulic and/or lattice boom crane and signal and rigging training. Certifications/licenses include NCCCO, OECP, Red Seal.
