Please be advised that due to the greatly improving COVID-19 metrics in and around Harris County (as well as the rest of the U.S. and Canada), the ITEC’s Mandatory COVID -19 Vaccine Policy will be lifted, effective April 4, 2022. Kindly note that the ITEC’s face covering mandate was previously removed on March 7, 2022. Additionally, while the stringent COVID-19 health and safety protocols and procedures that have been implemented at the ITEC have allowed us to effectively limit the number of known positive cases, you should also be aware that you may be required to quarantine and/or change your travel plans if you are exposed to COVID-19 while you are at the ITEC for training classes. The IUOE continues to diligently monitor and evaluate this situation on a daily basis so that we can make the best and most informed decisions to protect and preserve the health and safety of all IUOE members and their families.
