RE-AUTHORIZES INSTRUCTOR TO TEACH: 10- and 30-Hour General Industry Outreach courses.

This session of the OSHA 503 refresher will be delivered via Zoom videoconference. A one hour orientation will held on October 2, 2020. 

 Attendance at the orientation and all class sessions is required. Please note computer hardware requirements below. 

 

To be able to attend the videoconference courses using Zoom, you will need the following:

•             Students will be required to access the course using a tablet, laptop or desktop that has a keyboard, video camera and microphone capabilities.

•             Smartphones will not be permitted for student login and participation within these courses.

•             Internet connection- broadband wired or wireless (3G or 4G/LTE) *Cellular not recommended

•             2-way audio: speakers and a microphone – built-in or USB plug-in or wireless (note: students can used the microphone and speakers built into their tablet, laptop or  desktop. Headphones and, or earphones with a microphone are recommended.

•             2-way video – built-in or USB plug-in video web camera (note: students can use the video camera internal to their tablet, laptop or desktop or use external device).

•             PDF viewer on their device

Current OSHA General Industry Outreach authorized trainer. Please note that
OSHA has eliminated the authorized trainer “90-day grace period” to take OSHA #503. After
expiration, a trainer’s authorization may only be reinstated by retaking OSHA #501 course, with
proof (minimum of trainer card) of prior authorized trainer status. Extensions to the expiration
date will not be granted.
