This will be a comprehensive look at the use and versatility of Drones on today’s construction
projects. After completing this course you will be able to prepare for your Commercial Drone Pilot’s
License Test.
Drone Level 2 - This course is designed to provide a program for operators to develop the skills needed to launch successful UAV missions that are FAA compliant. Each student will demonstrate an understanding of FAA part 107 regulations, mission planning, data collection, crew resource management, and data processing. Materials covered include: Basic flight procedures, launching PIX 4D autonomous missions, inspection best practices and the use of thermal imaging.
COURSE OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this course, student will be able to:
- Identify different types of drone missions used for construction
- Understand the options for Processing Data
- Demonstrate drone flying competency
- Launch FAA compliant missions.

Class 1- Flight procedures and launching PIX 4D autonomous missions,
Class 2- PIX 4D post mission processing
Class 3- Launching filming missions' best practices, filming missions
Class 4 - Inspection best practices, Inspection mission
Class 5- Thermal imaging, Thermal mission, final exam
Prerequisites: Drone Level 1 or a FAA part 107 certificate
