Topcon Train the Trainer - Advanced
This four-day course will cover more advanced features and functions of Topcon machine control and jobsite layout using 3D-MC and Pocket3D software. This course is directed at trainers with a good working knowledge of Topcon technology either in the field or as trainers. Upon completion, students will understand the advanced functions of Pocket3D and 3D-MC such as staking linework and arcs/curves, surface creation in the field and setting steering options. This course will also cover common system troubleshooting.
Session Description
This course will cover the following topics:
- Creating 3D data in the field
- Calculating quantities
- Stakeout functions for linework, surfaces and arcs/alignments
- Sensor calibration (grader and crawler)
- Steering to linework/alignments
- Advanced surface creation
- Field troubleshooting
