In accordance with Article XXIV, Subdivision 15 of the IUOE Constitution, the 2024 IUOE New Business Manager – Business Agent Training will be held March 25th - 28th at the ITEC in Crosby, TX. This training is MANDATORY for all new Business Managers and Business Agents who were either elected to office or employed after the most recent training session was conducted back in August 2023. Kindly note, if you were scheduled to take this training in August 2023 and you were unable to do so, then you should register for the 2024 training.
There are two full days (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) of training scheduled for each day on Tuesday, March 26th and Wednesday, March 27th, so ALL attendees should plan to arrive at the ITEC on Monday, March 25th and depart on the morning of Thursday, March 28th. After you register for the training and make your flight arrangements, a room will be booked for you at the ITEC to coincide with those pre-set arrival and departure dates. The dress code for these training sessions is business casual, (e.g., khakis and collared/golf shirts; dresses/pantsuits, etc.). Jackets and ties are not required for gentlemen, and you are all encouraged to wear shirts with the IUOE steam gauge logo.
