The IUOE Training & Education Center will be offering classes in all areas of crane operation from
introductory to advanced, including Rigging, Assembly/Disassembly and Multiple Crane Lifts. Members will have access to set
up, configure, and operate some of the newest mobile and tower cranes in the construction industry.

Intro to Luffing Crawler Crane Operations - This course is for students with previous crane experience. The course will introduce operators to the procedures for raising and lowering luffing boom systems as well as their operation. It will cover what critical boom-to-luff angles are and where to find them. It will also cover how luffer charts differ from other charts.


Prerequisites: Member must be certified/licensed for mobile hydraulic and/or lattice cranes. Certifications/Licenses include OECP, NCCCO, Red Seal.
