The IUOE is holding a training on prevailing wage in construction; both federal (Davis Bacon) and state (little Davis Bacon) issues will be covered. The training will cover such enforcement problems as misclassification, excessive fringe benefit claims, and the failure to pay overtime, as well as best practices on issues like the survey process, job monitoring, certified payrolls, and taking cases to the courts.
